The time to kill has its moments. This is a quick read, the plot is good and always interesting to be hot on the heels of an evil mass murderer. But the characters are not really coming to life, and the usual “tough heroine with a troubled past” is used too often.
Kimberly, the main character and protagonist of the story is a young FBI trainee, and stubbornness is by chance and thrown in the investigation of a murderer who was killed over the years. Kimberly is a troubled young woman with many demons, not make things easier. It has no real friends, and his relationship with his father is neutral at best. When a murderer starts dumping the bodies near the FBI training base, Kimberly can not stay away from research or, even if his superiors asked him to keep his nose out of it. Her father is an FBI agent who now runs his own agency, and suddenly seems to help. Kimberly herself is also have personal reasons to catch this murderer, and when time is short, the evidence is collected and ends with a small twist that was a bit surprising. hard-core thriller readers try to guess the identity of the murderer long before the final revelation.

In the sixth novel by Lisa Gardner, “The time to kill,” the protagonist is Kimberly Quincy, a deeply troubled young man who walks on his father’s footsteps by training as an FBI special agent. Her male counterpart is based in Georgia Special Agent Mac McCormack, who is in Quantico to find an advance on a case that has troubled him for years.
seven young women died under the supervision of Mac, all victims of a sadistic serial murderer. Mac expects the experience to help the FBI solve the case. When Kimberly’s body runs into another victim, this time in Quantico, she and the burly McCormack risk their careers when bound to catch the murderer. They have no jurisdiction in this case and told him to keep his nose out of it. However, both Mac and Kimberly are encouraged to pursue their research.
all this sound familiar? It should, because “Killing Time” is full of cliches. First, is the psychopath, but really smart criminal is trained to kill because of his childhood demons. Then there are the two bright and motivated staff, good looking, Kimberly and Mac, that whatever the risk that justice is done. Will they be able to resist the undeniable attraction they were physical with each other? Finally, there is a race against the clock to try to save at least one of the victims of the murderer. To the credit
Gardner, moves the plot along quite quickly and writes exciting action sequences. Gardner has done its homework and details of the FBI and the investigation procedure looks authentic. Kimberly and Mac are sympathetic characters, and the author maintains a high level of tension in most books. “Time to Kill” is, in general, slightly entertaining thriller, and I give it a marginal recommendation.

This has been an excellent addition to the series, but is also independent. The locations were amazing and the suspense kept building. I enjoyed “catching up” with Raine and Quincy. I did however find the entrance to the FBI Academy Kimberly a bit hard to believe. This girl has serious emotional problems. Had there been an in-depth psychological evaluation? Even with the condition of his father who was not quite credible. It was still a very nice book and I’m really looking forward to the next Lisa Gardner.

New Agent Kimberly Quincy is fighting his demons at the FBI Academy with a grueling training regimen. His mother and sister were murdered six years ago by someone close to her. Has not yet come to deal with it. His relationship with his father (former FBI Pierce Quincy early novels) is tight. It has something to prove to herself and her father. She gets his chance when he met a body on a path of training by the FBI. She took a break from the Academy, contacted the Georgia Department of Investigation special agent “Mac” MacCormick. Mac had been involved in a series of investigations in Georgia killed three years earlier and the track has led to the FBI headquarters in Virginia. Now, three women were removed and new is a race against time to find them before they die.
beginning of the novel, the reader into the lives of the characters. They are extremely well defined. This is a fast, page-turning, you can not put a sort of book. A lot happens in just over 300 pages. Not that everything was perfect. Clichés abound, crimes are solved too quickly once everyone stops around struggle, and I can not believe that a cell phone works in the middle of a swamp I’m sorry. Despite some small problems, I found this to be an entire company, a fascinating book. Kimberly
addition, some characters from previous novels play a secondary role when it comes to killing. Lisa Gardner did a great job to gather all his novel highlights a different character each time, Rainie Conner on the third victim, Pierce Quincy crash in the next, and killing Kimberly Quincy hours. The books feel both familiar and original at the same time. Highly recommended

questioned since the first murder, mass murderer Mac recognizes the models. Young women are abducted in pairs, the first body is in an easy to learn and to serve as a roadmap for the second. In particular, the murderer makes fun of the dark tracks researchers could save the lives of women in second place, if they move fast enough.
