It is a commitment, a sample invitation and the wonderful cliffs suspension. Lola is a heroine of the first order, self-deprecating and funny, but rooted in real life. His neighbors made me laugh – that has remained to be considered that way? – And I loved her interactions with her friend Piper. Along the way they initiate mysteries: Why did Lola-great-aunt left a house? Why is Piper visits Hubert, but can never take the time to Lola? But the best is yet to come: the tension that Lola comes home to find an intruder in his home. Who is it? He is intelligent, informed, written by Karen McQuestion. More information.

This is the kind of books you buy immediately after finding it on Amazon or a bookstore. It is a style I like anyway, but I was intrigued by what was happening with the main character and his eccentric neighbors. I liked the style of writing and speaking / thinking style of the main character made her look like someone my friends and I went out with. Among the other ABNA short read so far, is the first that I keep hoping to get to read everything in the future.

“Fun” has all the basics of good ingredeints girl on the light romance / hybrid: beautiful single woman ready to meet someone special, two men (sortof) vying for your affection, your best friend care neighbors, nosy, and a rebellious younger sister. The writing is so simple and attractive, and there are some lines, although I do not agree with those who think that this book has been tumultuous. He is cute, but some of the humor is commonplace, and is more subtle than hysterical.
The problem for me was poor plot. The first third of the book meanders from scene to scene without any concrete idea about the real story. It’s fun at first – not wanting to leave extract more. But after several more pages, I could not help thinking: “Is there a point to all this?” We met Lola (yes, Barry Manilow sufficiency of reference occurs), a boring work interesting and poll co-workers, but this part of history is going nowhere. Then we have the best friend of the woman, Piper, Lola is bored with his obsession with his son, but never get around, either. Finally, Hubert, his best friend of man, which hit over being dumped by his girlfriend hate sound, Kelly. mopey and pathetic at first, and moving essentially Lola. From there, it becomes a pseudo-triangle story with Ryan, a mysterious neighbor Lola, on the one hand, and Hubert, who spends most of Heartbreak Lola Kelly wants to marry an incredible moment. “Br />
Indeed, since the novel ends, do not understand why the author designed the first part of the story as he did. There is no sexual tension, or feel you have aspired to Hubert Kelly (but later said yes) if the romantic turn and the resolution is ultimately unsatisfactory. On the other hand, Ryan and his sister Lola (so irritates me blocks in their name) are cartoon characters instead of meat – that have never felt real to me. As neighbors, we simply can not agree with those found by looking at the people who know. I can not accept because I’ve never felt like the author developed the characters at all. This thus becoming a united force to cut without buttinskies own personality. A lot of lost potential br there.
If you plan to order this book, I think is a good price, and is well written, but IMO, the story and pace needs more work. It reads like a first draft for me in terms of plot, even with decent prose.

We are not a grace that “deeply fun,” which he has done. I printed out to read while waiting for the appointment of a doctor and everyone in the waiting room when he got yelled “Oh, no” after the last paragraph. So thank you, Karen McQuestion, shame … you owe to myself and everyone in the waiting room for this publication so we know what happens next.
